Templates

Templates allow virtually any Windows based application to be voice controlled. Templates are at the heart of the user interface for VR Commander.  To control an application or game, the user simply creates a template for that application.  Templates allow three types of action to be assigned a voice command.  The three types of action are: 1.        Simulate keystrokes 2.        Input text strings 3.        Launch a file, macro or other program Voice commands can be single words or phrases.  Templates are loaded from the Main Control Panel screen.  Pick your template from the list of available templates, select "Load" and you are ready to go.  You can now drive that application with your Voice!

The Template Editor Screen shown above allows for simulate keystroke commands to be created.  See below for other screen shot examples

Templates available for Download:   If you have a template you wish to share, please email it to support@vrcommander.com.   Check back often for updates to this list. Templates have been checked for safety.  It is up to the user to test for completeness and accuracy of commands.  Remember you are free to modify these templates any way you wish! Click on the name of the template below to download a zip file containing the template.  Extract the file and save the file in your templates folder created during the VR Commander set up.  (C:\Program Files\VRCommander\Templates)
